October 2008, SCWC - Happy Second Anniversary

How time flies when you are having fun! During these past two years, we have accomplished many things, including organization steps, obtaining our IRS 501(c)3 approval, and many steps aimed at improving our watershed. Please join our efforts.

Boy Scout Brad Hansen has planned and built 2 kiosks along the Salmon Creek Trail for his Eagle Scout project.

The kiosks, one at each end of the Salmon Creek Trail, are wooden signs that have pamphlet holders. You will find information about the Salmon Creek Watershed Council and and its efforts to fulfill our mission

to provide a forum for citizens and organizations residing in Clark County to participate and partner on the ground restoration, water quality and advocacy of the Salmon Creek Watershed.
Brad completed the work mid-August 2008, so check it out on your next walk on the trail!
