Fishing is starting to pick up and get better on the creek. We have seen Coho in the system but as most of us we are trying to catch that early winter chrome. This is the last year of the Chambers Creek run that historically comes in early. Water jumped a little and hopefully pushed a few in.
Great day at Pleasant Valley Park!
We planted over 40 plants to improve the water conditions for salmon and other fish species, and the sun even peeked out.
Thank you Clark Public Utilities for the plants and to all the volunteers who did the work.
Earth Day Trash Bash at Salmon Creek Park and Klineline Pond
Thank you all who joined us for our first Trash Bash at Earth Day Fest!
Thank you to our volunteers!
Just took some measurements at Pleasant Valley Park.
Wonderful cold, clear water going into the pond.
We’re trying to understand why the pond is not being used by fish.
Stay tuned for more ways to help figure out this mystery!
Wonderful presentation by young scientists at the last council meeting!
We enjoyed hearing about their testing of Salmon Creek – sad to hear their testing showed poor health in this section of the creek!
